During production, kashkaval is aged for approximately six months, during which time it develops a slightly tangy flavor with a perceptible hint of olive oil. Kashkaval is straw-colored and has a spotless, smooth surface, and a semi-firm and waxy texture. Ingredients Pasteurized Sheep Milk, salt, rennet, enzymes Country of Origin Bulgaria Serving Suggestions Kashkaval's delicate, creamy and nutty taste makes it an excellent part to any cheese platter.
